Busy travel day from local buses to two bullet trains...
Utsunomiya 09/12/25 - 12/12/25
Local bus ride out of the city. The most beautiful forest walks with not a tourist in site (I'm an exception). Visit to the Utsunomiya art museum with an exhibition of French artists. Finished with a walk across to the Wakayama farm for a traditional Japanese meal.
Local bus ride out of the city again heading up to the volcanic mines at the Oya History Museum - a Historic Quarry Mine. Bus back to stop off at Tochigi Prefectural Museum of Fine Arts. A beautiful exhibition of original artwork created for children's books.
