Travel day with a 4 1/2 hour flight from Montreal to Calgary passing through two time zones. Now on mountain daylight time.

In 2022, Calgary was ranked alongside Zurich as the third most livable city in the world, ranking first in Canada and in North America and has been rated the cleanest city in the world. That is some statement!!!

It sits in the transitional area between the Rocky mountains foothills and the Canadian prairies and is famous for the Calgary stampede - yee hah..

Interesting fact or not it was named after Calgary Castle on the Isle of Mull in Scotland.
